TWM Piston
Completely new in our line up of weighted shift knobs is the TWM Piston shift knob! Inspired by the most famous rally and track cars, this new model features the quality and durability you have come to expect out of every TWM Performance product.





The design of this shift knob is inspired by the traditional piston shape you all know but with a smooth and unique TWM touch for the best grip and shift feeling you can get. The TWM Piston is available both in standard or Reverse Lockout (RL) compatible configuration. Weighing in at 520 grams for the standard version and 485 grams for the RL version, this new shift knob will give solid and precise shifts as well as the ultimate in style.





The TWM Piston shift knobs are precisely CNC machined for perfect proportion, then carefully polished on the lathe to receive one of our five unique and durable finishes.

At the moment, the TWM Piston is available in Stainless and Satin finish, the Flat Black and Gunmetal finishes will be available by the end of March. The TWM Piston is available with the TWM logo on the top portion of the shift knob. Also keep an eye open for engraved shift patterns available soon on the TWM Piston!

Big Type R
Also new to our line up this month is the Big Type R weighted shift knob! Based on our popular Type R weighted shift knob, this new model is 15% bigger in every dimension as compared to the standard Type R. Answering our customers wishes, the Big Type R is the perfect choice for JDM enthusiasts that prefer heavier shift knobs.



The Big Type R is also available both in standard and Reverse Lockout (RL) configuration, weighing in at 600 grams for the standard version and 565 grams for the RL version, providing the ultimate performance in shifting. The Big Type R is available with the classic TWM logo on the top portion. Different engraved shift patterns are coming soon for the Big Type R!



The Big Type R is available at the moment in the Stainless, Satin or Mirror finishes, the Flat Black and Gunmetal finishes will be available by the end of March.

How tall are these compared to the stock IX shift knob?

The Piston knob looks great.

 

The stock shift knob is about the same height as our A6 Leopard shift knob, so these two new models would be a little taller.
