Very good ecus, they never miss.

Used them for years and still do them now and again.

Buy with confidence!!

We tune them here in the NE also.

The 1000 and 2000 for the Evo is the difference between non mivec and mivec.. the 2000 has more outputs as well..

How do these ecu's compare to aem ecu? Easier to tune than aem? Cold start? Do these need to be retuned for changing weather conditions eg. cold winters and hot humid summers? Looks like a very nice unit!!!

We find they are now EASIER to tune than aem with the new software.. Cold start is much better since the ecu doesnt require 720 degrees of crank rotation to fire.. The Haltech fires immediately.. You do not need to change the tune for weather condition but it sure doesnt hurt to keep an eye on things or to check the a/f etc..

IMO they are hands down Better than AEM.. The hardware has ALWAYS been better and now with the new platinum series they are even easier to tune..
