Do you realize the Amuse R1 Titan exhaust is about $3700, the ARC is about $3500, and the Ganador is about $3900? Titanium is not cheap at all like steel.
This is a great price for a full titanium exhaust.

1600 is 1600 to me my friend... for that price I could buy the exhaust, uicp, drop in and an intercooler... but enjoy telling people that your exhaust is "titanium". Remember too that titanium doesn't make the car any faster either.

Some people like to pay extra for that extra performance / quality. Even if it doesn't make more HP then a standard stainless exhaust, I for one don't mind paying extra for the weight saving and anti-corrosion properties of titanium.

Look at all of the people running carbon hoods! They pay a lot of money for almost no weight saving. Most just do it for looks. You will save a lot more weight using this exhaust vs stainless then you would upgrading your hood.

Each to there own. I like it.

I hear you... I wouldn't change the hood on my car either... no point. I don't believe that the extra money for titanium justifies the higher price since there is little, if any performance, and really... how much weight can you be saving? Most SS systems save around 15 or so lbs... so titanium saves another maybe 5-7 lbs at most? If one is worried about corrosion and resistance to dents and such, titanium is probably the better choice yes, but that would be the only real reasons.

this person must have an HD camcorder and camera (proof required), or must be local to our offices.

I'm not a fan of the single exit systems but this one looks the best by far. 1600 seems reasonable considering the price point of other full Ti systems.
