Spark Tech *EVO X Ignition* System is HERE!

Introducing the much talked about and much anticipated Spark Tech Evo X COP/CDI system. This system was designed back in fall of '08 and tested on the BVP Evo X. There were some initial hurdles to overcome in regards to the immobilizer however our design team quickly addressed the issue and moved forward on design. Although this system was designed two years ago, the tuning market is only now ready to harness the capabilities of our Evo X system. With systems being assembled now, new systems will ship in as early as 2-3 weeks.

The BVP Evo held the title of the Quickest Evo X on mainland U.S. for quite sometime. A full two years after we designed and built the first Evo X COP/CDI system we still have been the only company that saw the need for a real Ignition upgrade.
This is the ultimate Ignition system for the Evo X platform. With enough spark energy for 1000+whp this will take a fully built Evo X into the 8's. It will also compliment the modded Evo X in the 400-600whp bracket. We here at Spark Tech pride ourselves on Innovation, Quality & Performance. We have held back the release of this system for sometime until we could have offered it in Plug and Play form. This time finally arose.
This race proven Ignition system provides unmatched Ignition energy compared to anything ever offered or available for the Evo X. In 2008 we set out to design a system that matched the quality of OEM Mitsubishi components while providing the extraordinary quality synonymous to the Spark Tech brand. To accomplish this level of reliability and performance, we leaned on the experience garnered from building over 2000 ignition cop systems that can be found worldwide, in every climate imaginable.
With the recent availability of several 600-900whp turbo kits being released, the need for a more potent Ignition system is finally becoming a necessity. As many of you know we've been fortunate to work closely with many top teams/builders worldwide. We have heard on these 800+whp Evo X's, the tuners have had to gap the spark plugs down to .013-.015. Although the factory Evo X comes standard with a cop system, these coils are not optimum to handle the task at hand. As a matter of fact if you look at the dyno slip below you can see that even at the 400+whp level we saw gains of 16whp and 18wtq. And to quote Gadiel from his tuning session after the install of the Spark Tech EVO X system, "Who don't want more horsepower?"

We were the first Ignition supplier to offer a Sequential Ignition option for the Evo 1-9 platform because we saw the need for something more potent and suitable for standalone ecu's and to get away from the outdated wasted spark system. Those systems have made there way on to the fastest Evo's bar none. The engineers at mitsu were forward thinking and designed the Evo X Ignition to be sequentially triggered by the factory ecu. This has allowed us to utilize the knowledge gained with our sequential systems prior to the Evo X's release.
