Great solution for me on race days the only thing I have holding my bumper on is the Toxic Fab bumper lactch kit. Basically a quick release system for me. Ill be working close with Toxic Fab to do more latch systems for my car.

Thank you! That's one reason for releasing this. I've been missing the clips and have a damaged one, with horrible bumper fittment. Now everything lines up, fits like it should as takes 2 seconds to remove rather then 5-10mins.

It really just started as gonzo and I wanting a solution to exactly what you mentioned, and we both thought, why not offer this to the evo community.

Collin

cool idea.. this will replace the two bolts that go vertically into the fender that always strip out I assume but what about the ones in the front behind the license plate and the clips at the rad suppoort? you would still need to have those right?

As gonzo mentioned in his post, these latchs are the only thing holding his bumper on. The actual clip by the bolts your mentioned stripping often can completely be removed. I'm running the toxicfab bumper latch kit and two stainless Allen cap screws (included in the kit) up on the core support, that's it. Any other clips are not needed. However, people wanted to keep all the clips, taps and factory bolts can more then do so, just install this kit and it simply makes removal of the bumper that much easier.

I will be installing these on the shop car and doing a step by step on how to do so, from tools needed down to the best way of bolting the brackets down. Before the first kits ship, this write up will be done, and in all honesty, its very simple and rewarding to do your self feel free to pm me with any questions.
