That seat bar is very, very interesting and extremely tempting along with the crossmember bars.

CJ have you guys done any testing with everything whether it be a track day or autox?

Cool. The underpanel looks fine and well, however, it appears to eliminate the brake cooling guides Mitsu designed into the undertray to work in conjuction with their brake cooling guides.

As you guys are surely well aware, Evos like to heat up the front calipers/rotors so getting cooler air there is always a must no matter how small it is.

I have the AMS brake cooling kit so that wasn't a problem for me.

edit: The reason why I went with the undertray was to get rid of the instability I was experiencing at 110+ mph on track. I'll go into more detail with the review. There are simple fixes for the brake cooling without have to buy a kit. I will also go into that in the review.

The best way I can describe it is, everything seems to hold very firm. Nothing feels loose or wobbly. I hope that gives you a better idea.

Over the last 3 years of owning my Evo I have developed a little lash from the drivetrain. Things like these bushings pique my interest as I see them as a way of tightening the car back up.

The primary place I feel the slop/lash is transition from power to decleration and back again. It is more pronounced under light load.

Any improvement in this area?

That sounds more like a motor/tranny mount issue. The bushings for the drivetrain does help but I think you would need to complement it with motor/tranny mounts. With the car setup right now, I'm not experiencing any lash.

Thanks for the feedback
I too have done the motor mounts so these might by my next step. Were the bushings hard to install?

No not at all. Here's a how-to on it: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...shaft+bushings

Also if you don't have tranny mounts. I would look into it.

With the floor performance bar, is the carpet able to be reinstalled without modifiying it to fit around the bar? If so, I assume it does not cover the bar?

Yes, you can install the bar on top of the carpet; but you will need to drill on carpet to insert bolts. The floor bar uses stock mounting points.

Thanks. These pieces are really intriguing, as it is a good substitute for a roll cage. Obviously it will not stiffen the chassis as much as a cage would but, it must help substantially.
