Thumbs up CBRD Ftw!

Just got back from CBRD and man is that one clean shop! I got some dyno pulls to see where my Buschur stage 2 was at and just to check out the shop. I was a little surprised to find out that my mail-in flash wasn't really where it should be and Chad being the good guy he is offered to tweak it a little I ended up gaining about 6 ft-lbs of torque and a smoother power band with a simple correction.
If your thinking about using their services...DON"T HESITATE these guys are awesome. The facility is immaculate, the service is top notch, and the arcade and drinks are free!

Thanks to Chad and the guys at CBRD a giant in the making!

Mail-in flash is exactly what it is. It's a mail-in flash. You are going to see gains with a custom dyno tune. CBRD is a great shop. I use them for all my installs.

Chad ftw

I understand but I didn't get a custom tune...Chad just noticed some inconsistencies with my flash and adjusted the high rpm fuel to where it should be, the car got really lean towards the top. The high octane and low octane maps were also the same

Gotcha . CBRD is all about customer service along with having a clean @ss shop. Oh yeah, they know what they are doing as well

Keep up the great work Chad. I know he's been super busy, cause I have not seen him on the site as much.

Glad to hear about more people having as good an experience there as I have had. I'm so glad there is a shop like that in this area where I know my Evo is getting the best when it's there. Chad, hope to be up there soon for some more work.
CBRD FTW!

294 Whp & 272 ft-lb on the mail-in flash with fuel issues up top

291 Whp & 278 ft-lb with Chad just changing some numbers really quick. He said theres about 15 Whp to be made but to hold off untill I upgrade my 02 housing and mani.

I'm not really concerned with the peak horsepower loss because the power band looks much more solid now. From 3600 to 6500 rpms more power was made and at about 5200 rpms I gained a good 10 Whp and fatter torque curve all the way through.

I think I might go just to see whats happening for the jester tune day but i'm trying to save money for more go fast goodies...i'm ****ing addicted!

thanks James!

we basically put the low octane maps/timing maps back to being safe... adjusted the fuel and timing maps to get the knock count to zero... the first pull with the adjustments smoothed out the curve and didnt knock at all, so i did 2 more pulls and left it that way.

I wanted to the car to be knock free, but wanted James to have us do a fine tune when had added some more parts.

cheers

thanks again
