Just had to share with you guys the great experience I had, Again, bringing my car to “The Shop” in Norwalk, CT. It was by far the best service, quality of work, fast turn around time and craftsmanship I have seen. Those guys are a class act!

This is my daily driver that use to have the FPgreen\Buschur 20g-LT, so knowing this turbo was pushing the limits of the stock bottom end ( almost 500 whp) there was no way the HTA wouldn’t put additional stress on that.

So The Shop upgraded my bottom end and head with nothing but fine buschur Racing parts. Still maintaining the factory 2.0L displacement, and the addition of power house BF272 cam’s and of course the HTA35r. Now the only hard part is waiting the first 500-1000 miles to try and break everything in nice nice, then getting on the dyno to see what this puppy is worth.

Just had to share my experience with everyone, and will keep you updated with Dyno and track #’s in the next month or so.

I am still in the breaking in process, But so far so good with the Cams.. Just idle quailty still needs a lot of work. But driviablity is almost as good as stock with the 1000cc injectors. Gas milage seems really good so far. But haven't burn my first fill up yet.

Nice setup Freddy302. Too bad it's only the beginning of winter and the tracks are closed for a few months. At least you'll have time to get it broken in properly. I'm sure the HTA35R is going to satisfy the 'hunger' for at least one race season, then, DB and FP will come up with the next 'New best thing since sliced bread'.
Good luck with the new setup.

you dont need that many miles for break in... 100-150 should do it...

just do a compression test and dont baby the car

boost and ride the rpms to around 6500-7000 then let off the gas with the car still in gear and let it decelerate itself back down to a normal rpm.

thats the proper way to break in a new motor... alot of places break cars in on the dyno after driving them 30-40 miles...

do you think places liek buschur, ams etc drive 500 miles before tuning a customers car?

Yup yup, just seat the rings by doing the above procedure several times. Contact buschur for more info on this.

Any chance you could post a video of those cams idling w/ the stock ECU? And are you using 1000cc PTE injectors? I am really interested in hearing how well this setup works for you; I'd like to do this on my car, but with an evo green and maybe E85.

+1 for a vid or sound clip? I'm considering the same setup.
