It was nice to meet you. Glad you were happy with the work and your car. I saw you pulling in as i was leaving and from the way you took that turn, it looked like you were having FUN!

Not sure what turn it was but there is a turn around up at the top of the dead end road where I think we may have left Abes spleen.
The car is just STUPID balanced and predictable. I am so excited to get it out on the track later this week and see how she runs.
Expect updates to follow!

Honestly, its impossible to test anything close to the limits on the car on the street right now as it just flat out sticks and goes. I am wearing some POS 500+ tread wear all seasons and I can hardly make it squeak a tire!
When you really throw it at a turn and flip it around you hear the outside wheels scuff a bit and thats about it.
Woooo hoooo yet another white RS.
You can only base your opinions on how they treat you. Not what you've heard. I have yet to see or hear of anyone that has had work done by DTM say they did shoddy work or treated them poorly. Don't believe I ever will. I was a bit sceptical the first time I went to them as I had heard the same stories you mention. That and the fact Nick was wearing a shirt that said "Do I look like a f@#$ing people person" the first time I met him.
They treat their customers as family. I had bolts break on my crankshaft pulley and it went bouncing down the beltway at about 9 pm on a saturday night. They came, helped me get the car to a safe spot, drove me home (about 45 miles from them) and went to pick up the car the next day. I had work done at another local shop and the licp blew off about a mile away. Their responce "when you get it back on come by and we'll tighten it up."
That and they are truly a one stop shop. Need your car tuned, no problem. Set up for road course, you got it. Drag race, sure thing. Need anything custom fabricated, anytime.
So while these stories may make some people apprehensive to walk in the door the first time, once you do you'll see what really goes on.

DTM has been consistently good to its customers. they were as thoughtful and deliberate when working on my car with it's rather unimpressive list of mods (apexi cone filter, 3" TBE, HFC) as they were with the OP's vehicle. the proof? 332whp, mustang dyno, 93 pump off-brand gas.
integrity. DTM's got it.

I put down 330/330 with an exhaust leak at the O2 housing and tuned pig rich. We would have had that fixed if we had not found the source only about an hour before I had to leave.
One thing that actually impressed me was that Nick took the way the O2 housing was done personally. It was put on by the previous owner and I am sure it was done without any thought that it may not be up to snuff but it seems that there was a slight alignment issue as well as a bad gasket? I'm honestly not sure exactly what all Nick was saying as he was cursing in greek or something and I could not really make it out. Facts are however that he cared like it was his own car.

It was good to meet everyone, and I look forward to a long journey and even longer lasting friendships.
