!T3 Twin scroll badness! DTM FTW
Thanks a lot Dan, I really do appreciate the compliments.
I would love to make a meet up there at somepoint, just keep me informed on when and where they are being held and I'll see what I can do. I'm always looking forward to meeting new people.
Just the ETS 61mm?? Haha, that kit kicked major ***, I just wanted to try out a twin scroll kit for my future build. My buddy Chuck is going to get my old ETS kit which is currently in Alabama getting jet-hot coated.
His setup is going to be badass. It's my old one to a T but with a black coated manifold and a black TIAL BOV on the UICP. In his Ebony car, as he calls it, it is going to be the perfect fit.
You are going to be extremely happy with your ETS HTA35r kit, Tom and the crew at ETS are beyond professional in all regards and a great crew to have behind you. Congrats on the purchase!
Hopefully, we will be able to meet soon.
And yes, the car does indeed pull like bananas.

and i agree once u go black u never go back

mines as dark as they get
I drove it the other day.. it took me alil to get used to the Quartermaster twin disc clutch.. But wow that thing grabs so well.. and is very clutch leg friendly
I again was almost speechless when hitting boost!
Car is just awesome.. I cant through enough props out there to the DTM crew and esspecially to Nick at DTM on the tune! And cant stress enough to everyone how they should get their car to Nick!! Car is outstanding
AEM magic
Well, if my car's performance increases with the AEM are any indication, you should expect at least 50whp/40lb-ft increases.
I went from 378whp/318lb-ft to 436whp/353lb-ft

For Comparison's Sake
How much boost was xiaoni420 running?
If I'm right, Nick had me tuned to 25psi on this run, but had to back off due to some head/block mating issues (that need to be rectified by installing a new stroker block...forthcoming).
xiaoni420's graph is on the left, mine is on the right (thumbnails)

Yes, I have no doubt that Nick could make some incredible gains from a standalone. I had AEM on my VIII actually, the whole reason Nick and I met initially about 3 1/2 years ago. He works his magic with the AEM and puts out curves that are even smoother, believe it or not, than his already ridiculously smooth curves with the stock ECU.
Like I said in the OP, the dyno room conditions were rather unbearable for a tuning atmosphere, but at the same time allowed him to tune for the worst conditions as well. His tuning impresses me every time, even if a car doesn't have a good combination of parts that allow it to make the "desired" power of the customer, the curves will still be butter smooth.
to Nick for all his hard work and passion for the game. I'm really looking forward to the upcoming modifications to really open the car up. The AEM, Head, and 2.3 should fatten up the power band nicely. I really can't wait.

Mason, honestly I'm heading to the track as soon as I can. I'll be in the 11s, promise.
Just have to get used to launching the new clutch is all. Shouldn't be too difficult to figure out though.
I second that upcomming mod list
except mine includes a clutch

I was going to head to Maple Grove tomorrow, but forgot that I have a golf tournament that I have to play in. Maybe though, it will end soon enough that I can still make it over to the track. Otherwise, anybody know if Atco has anything going on this weekend??
