I'm anxious to see some other dyno results. I'm starting to gather more evidence to suggest that some mustang dynos are reading about the same as AMS's dynojet. 360-370whp is about 117-118 mph trap speeds for them so if 355 whp on the CBRD is trapping about 116 mph the values between the dynos should be pretty close.
My goal is 420 whp on E75 on the AMS dyno.
Can't wait to see what these turbos do with E75/85!

prostcj, I hate playing dyno games. A client i did on cbrd dyno ended at 360-370 and did 430-440 on a DJ in NJ.

Chris another person did 290 before the retune and ran 114 on the old tune with 290 on chads dyno

At the dyno day whitey4d did 481whp 386tq and same tune, gear, boost, etc.. did 549 whp 450tq on a DJ

I know, I agree. That's why I'm anxious to see a variety of dyno results to get a better feel for the capability of the BBK. I'm not putting anything down and I'm excited for more info on this turbo. A lot of people are just chanting get a red but I don't think it is the right choice on pump and I'm starting to realize the cascade of money required to run the FPred on E85 (dual pumps, huge injectors, larger oil lines, etc.).

word understand completely. Im just as anxious to see others results too. I absolutely love this turbo and my set up. I think this fits alot of peoples need for a turbo. CBRD did there homework when they made this

My car is getting back on the dyno tomorrow. See how it does again

This is true! And it was actually cooler in the dyno room on the CBRD Dyno day then when I went to AR Fab in Winchester VA. Their Dyno Bay is fully heated and was 74 in there the whole time with all the doors down.

I will say that also the boost did drop a pound on the DJ and made 536. One turn on the MBC and rite back at 30 flat on the gauge. Then had to turn it back down when I left. I was hitting the "T" in boost on the road before I turned it back down.

I don't think AMS's dynojet reads nearly as high as other dynojets. I've learned to be careful when I read someone say they made 420-430 whp on their setup and then find out they trapped 118 mph.

That's what 420-430whp usually translates into though, around 117-120 mph traps. Why do people think that the lower reading dynoes are the most accurate? 290whp should/does not translate into 114 mph traps....

Sure it does! If everyone used the low reading dyno's as a basis from the beginning. You are saying that because you are used to 290 whp translating to 105-108 mph....which I fell into as well. Just goes to show a dyno is a tuning tool not a gauge on how fast you will run in the 1/4 mile. If someone knows their dyno well they will be able to tell you around how fast you should run, but 1/4 mile trap speeds really depend a lot on the driver, the car is second....

I did 325 @ AMS and added an intake/uicp/ic and only did 280 @ CBRD with a retune. Chads dyno reads much lower my friend

Ok, good reference point. Although 325 whp at AMS on an 8 turbo with the stock intake/ic/and I'm assuming stock cams must be some sort of record. But that doesn't matter......so 400 whp at CBRD may be the kind of numbers I'm looking for. Thanks.

If were going to make dyno comparsions well..... Granted weather conditions were different this will give you a rough idea of how CBRD dyno reads. When I first got my car I put on a DP and TP and I did 265whp on a local dynojet. Then on the same day with a full TBE,MBC,and Tune at 23-24psi I did 341whp. Couple months later I went to a different local shop to get parts installed and to get dyno tuned. Mods were TBE,MBC,Intake,LICP,Cams and the boost was lowered too 22psi. I did 355whp on there dynomite. A year or so later got my ETS HTA30r tuned at CBRD and I made ~350whp at 23-24psi. The car pulled 10 times harder and the tune was spot on and I made less hp than I did on my stock turbo comparing it to other local dynos lol.

BTW the BBK turbo is a great turbo. I got to ride in Charlie's car a few months back with the BBK lite. With 3 people in the car and 15gallons of c16 in the trunk I was so surpise of how hard the car pulled. Truly a great turbo

Thats right where I fell... I made 297whp @ CBRD and trapped 108 mph.

Hopefully in the spring I'll be going with the lite and these #'s will change. For now I'm trying to gather some more supporting mods.
