FYI I use one of these for skydiving/base jumping. They can take a beating and are water proof. Haven't used mine on my car yet but this is IMO the best camera on the market for any sort of action sport (biking, snowboarding, racing, everything). And it comes with a ton of mounts so you can literally set it up to be anywhere in a snap.
