SparkTech !

Ok, so get this! SparkTech gets their Non-CDI Ingnition to my house, in about 26 hours from the time I ordered. I get it in the Evo in 10 minutes. No Joke.

I started asking questions about the Non-CDI a couple of days ago because I wanted to make sure this was exactly what I wanted before going ahead with my purchase. Craig took the time to answer all my questions, through several PM's. After I was satisfied with the answers I received I placed my order. In my last question I tried to negotiate an delivery time of the next day. It was said that it would be the day after because there were other customers in front of me. Disappointed I could respect that, knowing that any quality piece requires time and care, not to mention the integrity to not bump other customers in line to appease one guy. So, I placed my order. Looking through my email I see a UPS email noting that the billing info had been placed. I've witnessed this before with other vendors, knowing that it could just be put in to confirm it's place in the shipping line. Not thinking any more about it, at 11:00 am I get a knock at the door. UPS ? WTF ?!? SparkTech to the rescue ! SO happy !

Opened the box: Has mega peanuts, Non-CDI Ignition, XL SparkTech shirt, SparkTech belt. Very well packaged.

Installation was a breeze: Mitsu cover off, 6 bolts out, unclip two connectors, regap plugs to .028, place Non-CDI on the plugs, 2 bolts back in, reconnect clips (click, click), zip tie, cover on, done.

Test Drive No more misses, smooth trasitions in partial throttle, and into boost, takes 26 psi pump gas without blowing the spark out. It just feels better all the way around too.

Clearly, a great company with a great product.

Thanks again Craig !

Congrats on your purchase!
I can't wait to get my hands on my COP from SparkTech! Hope to get similar results, running 28psi on BBK Full.

I know I mentioned it in the 1st post, but I wanted to make a point of noting how smooth the car feels now. It's kinda creepy. Almost too smooth.

^Smooth is FAST

Don't forget you also have a 1yr warranty on coils and Lifetime on our wiring harnesses. You can relax and be sure that we've got you covered in the event that something should happen. With a 0 failure rate for the non-cdi thus far. I'd just start saving for your next mod.

Is it still smooth? Isn't it comforting to know you are still covered under our Industry leading warranty? 2yrs on our coils, lifetime on workmanship/harness.

It's funny this thread got bumped today, because I wore the belt for the 1st time this past Saturday. Woot !

Without a doubt, it is still smooth. Although, last Thursday I had the spark blow out on me. I'm sure the gap has grown some, and need to regap the plugs. I'm pushing about 28 psi on 93, on the old FP Green right now, so if the gap ends up being over .030 I'll undersatnd what's up. Truthfully, I haven't looked at the plugs in about 10,000 miles. I hope there are no suprises.

Definately, good to feel comfortable it a product, where they check up on you more than a year after to make sure your still happy! It's also nice to see the warranty has grown a year.

Thanks for all you do!

Definitely time for a fresh set of plugs. 10,000miles of high boost use is excellent wear.
We enjoy what we do and truly value our customers, this makes it pretty easy to do the right thing.

I've had my Spark Tech COP for several months now and it has worked flawlessly since day one. Even at 44+ psi and 860+ whp this ignition system has done everything I have asked of it! for Spark Tech!
