Jic is crap ! !

WARNING ! !

Do not buy JIC coil overs. They do not last. When you try to get them repaired the company trys to hose you over with repair costs that outweigh the cost of a new set. Their service is absolutly horrible and they claim that the customer is a liar.

After only 7 months of daily driving....my Junk In my Car (JIC) pretty much fell apart. Never had I been on a track. The adjustment knob busted off. The camber plate bent. Conplete garbage.

Oh and JIC has had them for several months and refuses to return them to me unless I give them my credit card info.

Pathetic!

OK Rant is done.

Not surprising at all. I know quite a few guys who went through the same thing. It was instantly the customers fault. They can't even abide by there 1 year warranty. Just another company with good marketing, but a crappy product.

I have heard this with more and more frequency lately.
That is a shame especially since they are shooting themselves in the foot.

Parts break or fail sometimes....that is inevitable.
A part is only as good as its support. This will hurt them in the long run.

The worst part of the whole deal is that I have been begging them to send the COs back to me and they refuse. I even threatened to have my lawyer send them a letter.

In all honesty, I don't believe they ever had any intention of repairing them. They called me a liar that the damage was caused by an accident of some sort. I told them I havn't wrecked my car and was more than willing to prove it with a carfax report. Still they presumed I was lieing.

I am so extremely irritated by this issues it sickens me.

Often businesses do not think of the long run. They work for the quick buck and hope for the best in the future. In tough economic times like we have now it is obvious that customer service and quality are put to the way side in order to make a quick buck.

All I know is Carma will come back to them.

I guess I've been luck with the JICs on my 240, currently no problems. From the sounds of it, I hope they stay that way...

How weird, i heard they got good stuff, customer service may be sub par, but heard they were solid. My buddy also have their FLT-A2 or whatever on his 240 and he said it was great.

I have JICS with a blown rear one... Now I'm worried about sending mine to them.

Great Job JIC, I won't ever recommend them to anyone after seeing this.
