Matt, I conclude that you offer a very good deal here. Will give you a call during the week.

Don't buy anything but New/Used OEM (Denso) coils! I learned that lesson.

Got free samples from about every coil reproducer under the sun awhile back. Should have spent the time getting Denso hookups....

Freddie..

Please post up your experience with the kit. Did you make your plug gaps bigger? Did your tune run leaner upon install? etc.

I too will be ordering the DIY kit here in the future.

Kit has been flawless since I installed it, the only thing I have done is swap out the hardware. Like I said before I was running a .020" gap with the Sun Hyperforce, and I am now running a .025" gap with the COP. I have a set of plugs at the house that I can test a .030" gap with, but I have to get new feeler gauges as they don't go that high.

As for the tune, it didn't change it, IMHO it pulls a bit cleaner in the upper RPM range. I have noted a slight increase in gas mileage as well.

Thanks for the review, Fred!

For those that don't know Fred, he is a no BS kinda guy. If he wasn't happy with this setup he would say so. Also, any experience he mentions is based on what he sees; placebo effect need not apply.

any thoughts on using the Sun with the COP setup since Matt says it can work?
You might have a plasma cutter type ignition lol

I have one but I uninstalled it prior to hooking up the COP... IMO you won't need it with this COP.

I hear you
Did the Sun increase gas mileage as much as the COP did?

No, cause I still had to close the gap as I was breaking up at .025" with the sun at 29 PSI on stock IX turbo. Once I closed the gap to .020" with the Sun everything was fine...

These look nice! Once I upgrade my turbo, I'll be getting one!

Ive had mine since shortly after they first come out. Still yet to have any trouble with them. But I do need to change the plugs before I go road racing again.
