cbrd and exedy win review
cbrd and exedy twin review
what better way to spend st pattys day then with the guys at CBRD. i dropped my car off on monday the 15th for an exedy twin install and picked it up on the 17th. since i have been to CBRD before i allready knew what to expect from service, workmanship and professionalism, all top notch. mark not only installed the clutch but found a couple other little things, leaky blow off valve and a vacuum leak, to fix. while putting the car back together he also did a custom job for me on my beatrush underpannel were it was rubbing on my downpipe.
after everything was installed and the car was filled with motul fluids, per my request, it was off to the alignment shop for a CBRD spec alignment. to my surprise when chad brought it back the car was fresh off a hand wash. no more road grime and dirt like when i dropped it off on monday. thanks guys!!
a friend of mine brought me to pick up my car and got his 08 sti tuned while he was there. chad and mark both stayed late after closing again to make sure everything was perfect on both cars. chad wrote a new rom for my ecu that lets me use an 02 simulator and also took care of another check engine code for target idle to high.. when all was done we knocked back a couple of beers courtesy of dog fish head and headed home. i know u guys had plans for the night so thanks again for staying late and making sure everything was on point.
i took some video while i was there and put it together, mostly the 08 sti getting tuned but the silver evo backing out of the shop was mine.

ill check back in on the clutch review after my 500 miles of break in are over. first impressions are the normal, a little noisy, good pedal feel
