My Quartermaster Experience

Shifts like butter.

The squeak on engagement is annoying as can be and the engagement/chatter is harsh but takes some getting used to. Car is a 2000 Eclipse but I have evo 8 motor/tranny/transfer case.

Post some pics! I hate that generation of Eclipse's, but I'm interested in seeing the engine bay. At least it's an Evo at heart!

Engine bay pics coming soon.

Also...slipping the clutch for a hard launch is almost impossible without some kind of restriction in the clutch line. For now I'm doing a quick release. I'm throwing slicks on this weekend and heading to the track to try for 10's. I went with a 8.5" slick and starting out at 20-25 psi to keep from breaking drivetrain and working down on pressure from there. Clutch GRABS.

That's cool that the Evo drivetrain fits underneath that bodystyle.

Are you using the new 8-Leg version of the QM or the older version?

The older version. I'm building a friends Evo 9 MR right now and he got the 8-leg for that so I can write about the improvements on it when the time comes.
