Well I finally decided to go out and buy my first mod for my '12 X. After much speculation of if I should save for other parts, I just decided to go with an intake. Me being the **** person I am about EVERYTHING, I did searches upon searches and it really came down to two intakes - AMS CAI and ETS short ram. After speaking with some of the Evo folks in the area, a CAI isn't really worth it since I'll be DDing the car soon. Thus began my journey for an ETS intake.

Even though I'm all for finding a good deal on parts, I decided to go straight to the source and ask Michael about their intakes and price. I figured if I had any questions, who better to ask than the manufacturer. Micheal was quick to shoot me a PM back, which I always appreciate as I'm sure they are very busy. Well payday came and I quickly jumped on ETS' website to order the intake before I had second thoughts, haha. Within a day or so, I was given a receipt and tracking number. Waiting for the intake to come from the West Coast was killing me, but I knew it would be worth it in the end. Intake arrived at my front door and I felt like a kid on Christmas morning ripping the box apart.

Once I got all the packing peanuts out of the way, I noticed the pipe was brushed stainless steel while I ordered the black intake instead. Shot Michael a PM, he requested I email him the issue and he would resolve it. Quick email out and another quick response from the ETS crew. Michael apologized for the confusion and said they would send me a new black pipe. Once the new pipe came in, I noticed there was a return slip included which meant I didn't even need to pay to ship the incorrect pipe back. Top notch customer service right there .

All and all, I'm impressed with ETS and I KNOW I'll be doing business with them in the future. Look out Michael...I got my Christmas list growing

*Sadly, no review for the intake itself as I'm saving some cash to buy some complimenting parts and a tune. All the parts were properly packaged and I haven't seen any scratches on any pieces yet...even though most of them are still wrapped every so nicely. I highly doubt it would be any different than any of their other pieces though.

Love dealing with these guys, just got the quiet X TBE on a car and the fitment is great and the customers are LOVING the products!

Everything we ever get from them just simply works, manifolds, intercoolers, exhausts whatever, top notch stuff!

Loved my mini battery I received earlier this week. ETS is always amazing!

 

Without a doubt, ETS is one of the best vendors I have ever done business with. Michael is so nice to work with. It is refreshing to have confidence when you place an order that you will receive what you ordered in a timely fashion. Can't say that for some other vendors I have ordered from.

 

So far its been ETS all the way from day one with my X. Michael and the whole crew have been very nice and helpful with each of my orders with them, and the product is second to none. Keep up the good work over there on the west coast guys!

I would have to agree with an excellent customer service review also.
I recently bought a 03 EVO with quite a few mods done to it.
I wasn't positive what kind of FMIC kit was installed but thought it might be ETS so I emailed them asking a few questions and Michael replied quickly with answers and more questions.
After a couple e-mails and pictures sent he let me know that my entire kit was ETS and some of it was earlier versions of some of the current parts.
He always replied quickly and was just helping me out with my car, didn't try to push me to replace or buy anything just extremely helpful.
Thank you, when I do need parts, I would definitely look to ETS first.

I cannot stress how above and beyond ETS has gone for me it's ridiculous! And I seriously mean that. These guys are awesome and I will stick with them for life as long as they can support any platform I may switch to in the future :P

ETS F-n rocks! Also - Their quality of parts they make are amazing compared to a lot of other name brand stuff and huge companies. You'd really be surprised, if you've never purchased anything form these guys. I have a few tubular manifolds, IC piping, IC's etc.. from some major name brand companies and the ETS parts are much better quality. The craftsmanship from ETS is top notch.
