Last saturday I strapped my evo 9 down on a trailer and headed toward Ivey Tune. I had an appointment set for 9 am to have my clutch done and It was a long drive. I arrived at about 8:30, and Dave and Will were at the shop, ready to get started on my car. I gave them my car and went for a walk. About 2 hours later I get a call from Will, He had everything apart already and wanted me to come in so he can show me a couple of things that he felt I should see.

When I arrived, he showed me a handfull of issues that the car had from the last clutch job, at a different shop. He advised me that I needed some extra parts, and that it was going to take some extra time. I was supposed to drive the car home that night, so I was worried that the car wouldnt be finished, I didnt have hotel reservations to stay in NJ. He assured me that he would try his best to get the car ready.

Well, after going to lunch and hanging out around town with my cousin and girlfriend, I headed back to the shop. Will was still going hard, on the car. It was approaching my drop off time for my trailer, so i was worried lol. A few minutes later, He finally drops the car from the lift, goes for a ride, and lets me go for a ride after. Clutch felt PERFECT!

Now inside the shop while Will tallies up the bill, Sean overherd that I was going to take a long trip home that night, so he tells Will to go over the whole car to make sure everything was good and safe to drive home( car was sitting for a few months) but the guys had already taken the initiative and checked all my fluids, checked my brakes, and made sure It was leak free.

When I finally get my invoice, much to my surprise, my bill was exactly the amount I was quoted for before all the issues. Of course the extra parts were added, but the actual labor stayed pretty much the same. I expected to pay more money than I was charged to be honest. I drove home with absolutely 0 issues and the clutch felt great.

I made the decision to drive 250 miles to IveyTune, and I feel it was the best decision I could of made.
