I'd take the hotside or the titanium turbo over that manifold anyday. Granted, I put them on together, but my car picked up power everywhere in the powerband with them. I don't have the bigger injectors, but I have the SSAutochrome manifold, AMS IC, and lower pipe (and all the stage 1+ parts). I made 300whp (DD) on pump; I'd like to see if Shiv can get 305whp and clean up the curve in the middle. I'd like to see 325-330whp on 110 octane race gas, which should put the car in the 11.80-11.90 range with a good 60' time.

I made 360@wheels last time out on pump gas and did the same this time with the 10.5. Needs a bigger compressor wheel.

The problem is that there is only so much air you can pass through the inlet of the 16G at a certain density.

So even though you lower the exhaust manifold pressure, which should allow you to evacuate more exhaust from the cylinder, there is no more air in the intake manifold to fill the cylinder, since the bottleneck is the 16G inlet.

Well, at least this is the case at maximum boost on race gas. Can't say the same for pump gas.

This is why different cam combos (other than stock cams, of course) don't seem to make a difference at all with maximum boost and a 16G. They aren't the bottleneck anymore.
