Will XEDE work on 05 Evolution MR
Will XEDE work on 05 Evolution MR
Hello Guys.
I'm preparing for the arrival of my Evolution MR - and like many, getting my list of aftermarket "goodies" together.
I'm curious to know if the XEDE will work with the MR.
These are some of the specific questions I have.
Will the plug and play harness be the same for the 05 MR?
Will the available stage maps work with the MR and 05 EVO?
Will the XEDE allow you to remove the 5K RPM launch limit?
If the answer is no to these questions, can you elaborate on the reasons and tell us when we could expect an "MR" version of the maps. (please be realistic)
Thank you.

dont know any details...but i'm sure shiv and the other big tuners will find a way to accomidate any performance needs you will have...just give it some time after the car comes out
For the harness question: as long as they haven't made any physical changes to the ecu, then yes.
For the rev limit question: that is all done through flashing the factory ecu
For the map question, some small changes will probably have to be made to accomodate the large hotside and such.
