I was at the tune day this past weekend and just got back to SC. I wanted to download the maps off my xede so I could see what changes there were from the base maps. Well... to my surprise I saw that both maps had the same name and from what I've seen so far...have the same values for everything. Does Shiv rename the maps so they're not confused with one another or is the map/tune named the same and the gas does all the work ?

Is there another version of the XMAP that Shiv uses that shows the difference in maps that V2 cant ? Thanks

 

He usually loads a basemap and tunes it. Remember to view the secondary map you must shut down xmap and connect the wires then download maps from xede

So to download the secondary map the xede has to be turned off ?
or

Close xmap
flip the switch to engage the 2nd map
re-open xmap
Download map ?
all while the cars ign. switch is in the ACC pos. ?
