Dyno graph of Stage 1+, 10.5 cm hotside on 93 octane

Here is my graph. Everything is VERY conservative. Stage 1+ basemap. With just a little bit of tuning, 300HP is very doable. What I want to point out though is the midrange torque. BTW, on this dyno, STi's and EVO's run 190HP in stock trim. We believe that the dyno params are set close to Shiv's DD dyno.

Let's go! I need to get a few things sqared away and I will be able to put the power down. I had to remove 1 part in order to run properly, but the cost of that part was at least 20 HP. Lemme know when you're ready!

What was this part man? I'm just saying there was a bunch of ruchus about my dyno #'s and I would like to get on there again, just ask the guys at MZM about the car. As most who know me will agree, I could care less about competition, this is for my own personal satisfaction

I take it that you are happy with the 10.5 hotside? What is a 5 angle hotside?

Thanks.

Why does the operator only take your car to 7000rpm?
the stage 1+ cars I tune/dyno are making power way beyond that.
You have an Xedeflash right?

No sir, just got the ECU back in with the flash and holy crap...! It's a rocketship! Boost is ON all the time except for 4th gear pulls that are 100MPH and higher. It begins to taper at that point which tells me that the turbo is at its limit. Am I right in my assumption?

Boost is boost regardless of what gear you're on. It's the gear ratios that changes that affects acceleration specially with the long 5th gear that we have.

You need to find out why this is on your graph as I suspect your torque/power figures are skewed because of dyno setup.
Not trying to hate as I am not familiar with mustangs, but it would not hurt to check

From what I understand the Mustang dyno print out cuts off at peak horsepower even if the operator ran to 7krpm or more. Don't know the reason why.

This would be consistent with my stage 1+. On a dynojet (Turbotrix & Altered Atmosphere), I make peak HP @ 6800rpms

That would explain it.....although why would a dyno not show all the data of all the run?

Agreed, although I am sure the dynojet graph continued past peak..

I was wondering the same thing. From what I understand, there have been inconsistencies with this dyno anyway, re: parameter changes.
