EGT and boost question
EGT and boost question
OK, so I got my Defi boost and EGT gauges hooked up this weekend (they are hella tight), and decided I would see what readings I was getting.
I am currently running Vishnu stage sub-0 on an otherwise totally stock car.
The EGT probe is in the runner for cyl 2, pretty close to where it meets the runner for cyl 3.
On a 0-100 pull, followed by 60-90 4th gear and 60-90 5th gear I saw max boost of 1.5bar and max EGTs of 900C.
Does this seem normal?? Both numbers seem a little high from what I have been reading..

You might as well be up in the Bay Area guys with the Vishnu people already. 
anyhow, the egt does seem a bit high, but i could compare with others with the same gauge before you make any hard conclusions.
