Getting excited

Hi everyone,

Just a quick post , to ask some advice & info. I expect the guys @ Vishnu should send my 1+ this week , wich should make it land here arround the end of next week or a little later. I'll then be greeted by the customs agents here who will certainly rape me with a high import duty.
Just wanted to know how much it costs to have cams & pulleys installed in your country, i'm currently searching for pple here to do it , and comparing their prices and skill reputation. The cheapest i found was 100ish $ , whereas the most expensive was like 600$ . I know the last must seem awfully expensive to you guys , but I live in a small island , 400km long x 50 wide , with only 200k pple on it , and nearly every shop here has a monopoly, so they tend to say " if you're not happy with the price just try to find another one to provide this" .
2 examples , here a 10.5 hotside costs 1600$ , and a front brake disk costs 600$ ( for 1 ), without labor .

So what are your guys charged when you ask someone to change your cams/ pulleys ? Thanks to your information I'll either thank the guys who does it for a reasonable price here , or remember his face for the day he ever comes into my shop , if he's too expensive.

Tell ya what...I love to travel. Can you see where I'm going with this?!?! IF Vishnu can send you the parts, I'll install the the Stage 1+...er hum...for the measly price of...a good time in New Caledonia! No kidding. It would seem a lot cheaper that way, don't you think? BTW, accomodations would need to be the same for the wifey.

Hehe
Check the air plane ticket prices, i think it's quiet expensive , i had a friend from Montreal find tickets around 5K $ i think at the time. New Caledonia is a nice place , but coming from the US you may find it really small , and vry expensive. + its a french country
