Need help with Xede

My friend has a 03 Evo, and has the xede in it. today we were checking the info in the diagnosis tab, under Xede information. what it says under the map loaded is that the stage one 91 octane is loaded. Then when we flip the switch to the other map and check the Xede info button again, it still says that its running the 91 octane map, and not the 104 map that should be loaded into the xede. Anyone have any idea why its doing that?

Custom 104 map? Be sure to flip the switch BEFORE trying to upload into the secondary slot

Someone else should confirm this, but the firmware I doesn't support independent descriptions for each bank.

Same thing happen to me also. I have 93 since I use to live in GA but now live in socal. I switch from 93 to 91 but both maps read 91. I know there is 93 map because I get knock with 93 running 91. All I did was flip the switch and load each map but it always remembers the last map loaded. So If you loaded 104 first than loaded 93 than both maps will be 93 when flipping switch

Any explanation for this?

IIRC you can't connect pc/laptop to xede, connect xmap, flip switch and read other map. You have to disconnect xmap flip switch reconnect xmap to read secondary bank and vice versa.

I have to agree with snoop on this one...I just spent about an hour loading/reloading in about every possible combination...turning engine off, shutting down xmap etc. Ultimately I could get it to the point that the xmap would read bank 0 and then bank 1 after joining the wires. However the description was always the same between the two banks. Is this just a software glitch??

It will always read the name off bank 0, IMHO not a glitch just a limitation.
