Xede Install Questions
Xede Install Questions
I just purchased Xede and want to install it, but I need to get my car back to "stock" with a cat back exhaust. I have an aem short ram intake, mbc, and test pipe to remove. I figured out ho to remove the intake and test pipe, but cannot figure out how to reconnect the stock boost solenoid. Here is what I did..... From the stock boost solenoid there are two places to hook up the hoses. the rear one i connected to the stock air box. The front one i connected to a T and then one side of the T went to the turbo and the other went to the wastegate actuator. There is a brass restrictor pill in the hose that goes from the T to the turbo, but I removed the brass pill from the hose connected directly to the stock solenoid(like the Xede instructions say).
I then installed the Xede. Went smoothly enough, but everytime I hit 4500 rpm's it just hesitates(like fuel cut). This happens every time I hit 4500 rpm's even if the car is not moving and it is in neutral. Everything I read seems to indicate a boost cut, that is why I want to make sure I have to stock boost solenoid hooked up correctly.
Thanks for any advice you guys could give me.
