Questions Vishnu Stage 0...going to be stage 1+ eventually

Hey there....I am going to be ordering the stage 0 here in a couple weeks after I get my car back from being repainted (under warranty). I was just curious what kinds of gains I will get from the stage 0 on 93 octane gas. Its about depressing watching my boost gauge only go up to 17psi and then taper off to like 15psi in most gears. Will the exede raise this level up to a more acceptable level? Thanks...sorry for the rather general question.

You will probably get about 30-40 HP out of Stage 0 on 93 octane. The boost will go up by about 1 - 1.5lbs. Its a nice upgrade for the money, as you can really feel the difference.

Cool...will the boost still taper so dramatically? Or will it hold at a more constant 19 or 20 psi? Also...one I upgrade to stage 1 or 1+ will the boost pressure increase even more? Just curious because this meager little boost readings I'm getting right now are really pissing me off. Thanks for the help

you might want to tighten the clamps on the hoses going into your BOV and double check your boost gauge ... 17psi seems low, so does a taper to 15psi. From what I've seen, your boost pressure is ultimately determined by what level of Octane you run. For example, I run 93 Octane, and as a result, try not to run more than 23psi of boost. My stage 1 setup boosted to ~21psi, tapering off to around 17. My current stage 1+ setup boosts to ~23psi, tapering off to ~18psi. I'm actually starting to see even higher boost readings with the colder weather, so next weekend I will be dialing down the boost for the winter....

Yeah I suspected a boost leak too. I tightened all of my clamps and everything. I actually had a hallman pro MBC on there, but took it off so I could add the exede. It held at 19 or 20 psi pretty much all the way to redline without and taper. It worked really well, just does nothing for fuel mapping. My pressure without the MBC varies....sometimes it'll run right up to 18 or 19 PSI and taper off slower....i notice lower boost readings in lower gears. 3rd gear and up seem to be pretty normal....it tapers from 18 or 19 down to like 16. I called Vishnu about it just to see if my car was screwed up before I stuck the exede on there...and they seemed to think the readings were normal. So I'm just hoping the exede fixes the ECU's stupid boost control. Thanks again for all the help.
