So I just got my XEDE unit in the mail....... The instructions on the website say to download XUpdate to install maps...where is XUpdate. I did download XMAP....but how do I get maps into the XEDE that way. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Use XMAP v. 2.0.1.1 to upload/downloads map. It can be downloaded from www.xede.com.au. Go to software and you'll see it. XUpdate is now obsolete so don't use it The rest of the instructions still apply though....

What's with the pre-release v3? I opened a v2 file with it, will it connect to Xede?

 

Don't use the prelease v3 program. It won't work with the current firmware that is in your XEDE.
