Hey guys my friend wants to have a little performance comparison at the track soon.
he has a 91 300zx with a full exhaust, chip, intake and he says a bunch of other stuff. now i dont know if i believe him but he says its 400 rwhp. what do you guys think? buncha bs? or should I not bother to show?

go get em, first he doesnt have 400 hp,and second it doesnt matter anyways you got him. When you say track I hope u mean road course as you will make him look pathetic, but on a drag you will get em too!!

ther stuff" is. I personally know a guy with a 300zx putting out over 550 to the wheels but he has some serious work done to the car. As far as a chip exhuast etc goes, itll take more than that to get 400 whp.

my friend here on campus has a 300zx with 375 rwhp he has sheets. He had 450ish with some "someone WOLF" ecu system or something weird i forgot what it was. MY STOCK evo raped him till about 65 mph, then his wheel hop stopped and he grabbed and jetteed like bad outta hell. I think u should take him in the 1/4.

400hp is very possible with intake, full exhaust, chip. more like 420 probably. thats flywheel HP btw. 400whp is tough to get on stock turbos, but can be done with a descent tune, high boost, and race gas.
if he has stock intercoolers though, he probably is packing around 380whp.
if he is a good enough driver to get a 1.9 short time, he will get you in the 1/4.

ummm well today i raced him.. in my ford tauras, and no im not kidding. i brake boosted to like 3k and then jumped ahead by a car. at about 60 he was at my front tires and he pulled away. btw my tauras is a v6 with some embarassing hp numbers, im guessing like 200.... so much for 400rwhp i guess.
