OK here is something vettes can only dream about, but never ever will it reach this. Evo FQ400 hahhahaha. Combination of great acceleration, Handling, Breaking and most important Looks. Eat $hit Vettes...... Not in this life time or the next....


Evo owners, just upgrade your car the smae way the FQ400 was done and you should have no problems from any American cracp cars.

 

I don't know that anyone would envy a car that has a propensity for breaking.....

The new C6 ZO6 actually makes 512 hp at the crank...but for advertising purposes 500hp is better

 

The FQ400 is very close to what a stage 1++ (cams, TME turbo) will do, meaning that you will beat the C6 in the 1/4 but still run out of oomph in triple digits... The C6 looks like a great car. If I had the extra cash and lived in a sunnier state, I'd get one in a heartbeat to go along with my Evo.

The dragstrip we use is in Bowling Green, KY is right near where Corvettes are built. A C5 Z06 is a lot faster than a C6 IMO, to the tune of 4-5mph. I've seen C5 Z06es with dealer plates and stock down to the OEM tires run 12.30s@117mph. With a tire upgrade, they're 11 second cars in good weather.

The only thing that will bring their defeat is their lack of traction. Good thing no 16G'd Evo has to go to 5th in the quarter, because at that point, a Z06 will tromp a 16G 5 speed Evo due to poor gear spacing at the 5th upshift.

 

Yea but the 05 Vette can do a 12.7sec 1/4mile and still maintain a warranty.......... try that with your EVOs ...

 

Yeah, the the c5 Z06 runs high 12a and the c6 is comparable to that. Top Gear ran the c6 slightly slower around their test track than the fq-320. I ran a 12.8 with Buschur stage 1 (int/exh/20psi/ECU), so if you have Vishnu 1+ or ++ or whatever, you should definitely take it in the 1/4!

We get to keep our warranty too. Just some people get their voided because of the stupid $hit they do. Either way I would rather drive a Mitsu without warranty than a fcking piece of rubbish American Crap Vette.... If the Vette was the only car in this world and they where giving the cars away for $1 I would invest that dollars into horses or some camels. I would $hit on the Vette....

Can you provide a reference or a dyno sheet to back this up please ? I'm curious as my current setup, the C6 pulls hard through first and second and gets about half a car length on me with my current setup; after the vette goes to 4th, its all over.
