need help with maps.

sorry, it is a big pic. the left is my custum map that i have in the car right now, the right side is the stage 1 map on 93. can anybody possibly point out the differences between these two maps knowing that my car is a stage 1 also?
this is a list of my mods: cat back, high flow cat, downpipe, cams (263/272), cam gears (-3/-3), intake, intercooler, i/c upper pipe, i/c lower pipe, fuel pump, 680 injectors, mbc at 23 psi, type s bov, xede. the car runs great ( 330 awhp, thanks shiv) i am just curious.
any input would be greatly apprreciated, thanks and happy holidays to all.
thanks.

Looks like shiv tuned over a custom xedeflash map for your custom tune. Most likely because of your injectors. I could go into a bunch of file names which would make no sense to anyone...but i am thinking that is what he did.

Lets see...

MARKE2.hex, or maybe x1pls105.hex, shiv?

I agree with Dustin...the timing is more agressive on the left hand map (custom tuned) and the fuel appears to have been scaled in the ECU using Xflash...thats why the fuel offsets on the custom tuned map are only marginal.

thanks Dustin, thanks andrew. i wish you guys were around here to clarify the mystery that tuning is .

dustin, you are right that is exactly what shiv did. so my custum map is more aggressive. so what does it mean when you have a 0 in the timing table or a possitive number in the fuel table? i am trying to get an idea to adjust the tuning a little when i get new parts installed, waiting for shiv to come around here. you guys should organize a seminar or something on tuning with the xede, i'll be the first one to come.
thanks a lot for the answers and merry christmas to you guys.

Positive numbers in the fuel table means that your are adding fuel. Zero's in the timing table mean the time is not being advanced. On the Evo if you take out fuel you also add timing advance. That is why there are lots of negative numbers on the Stage 1 map and none on yours.

Hex files are the flashing files for 03 evos. 04 cars are .mm files.
