What USB adapter should I use for xede

What USB adapter should I use for xede

My fujitsu p5010 only has usb ports and no serial. What adapter do you guys recommend I should buy to be able to link up to my xede.

i used the one i bought at radio shack...works fine, but i had to go to my work to upload the software and email it to myself...since it comes on a 3.5 floppy...and my laptop only has a cd-rom drive...once i got the software onto my laptop, its worked fine

i think there are a couple threads about this already...you can probably read those and get the info a lot quicker

I think "IO" (I think that was the brand is??) is also used with good results.

Cool I think my microcenter has iogear products. Im going to ace hardware as well today, so I'll see if they have them.

Also shiv, are you coming to chicago this year.

Keyspan. Some adapters are known to not supply the correct current levels.

i use the socket pc card. i had a hard time finding a usb/serial cable that worked on my v505.

I use the Iconcepts one by Sakar. Got it from Compusa and it was cheap as well.

For your info, the search feature is jacked up. when I try to search in the Vishnu forum, I get results from the entire site.

Guys been wanting to see what brands of USB/serial adaptors you are using seems the more expensive ones arent working
