whoops, my XEDE harness....problem?

Well today i was going to reset my ECU and got down below my dash to where my xede is and while unplugging the factory harness from the XEDE to reset it i accidental popped off some kind of clear plastic protector that had been epoxied or heatgunned on . Its still attached to my harness just one side of the clear plastic shield thing came loose. Is this a problem?? Should i be worried about it and try to epoxy that end back down, its still covering that area and the XEDE works fine, just wondering. Here is a section of the harness I am talking about. Its the peice on the back of the board, circled in green.

Yea, its more or less and insulator. I'd just pop it back on and wrap it up in eletricial tape so it does'nt short out on anything.

it is fine then, it is no where near metal, and the plastic peice is still covering it. Just one side of the glue came loose.
