Vishnu Stage 1+ equivalent car spark plug question

Hey all I have a Vishnu stage 1+ equivalent car custom tuned by shiv and making 291whp on Dyno4mances DD dyno. Here is my question: I am still on stock plugs and right at 34K miles on them. What would be the best plug to replace the stockers with with my current mods . Im sure the stockers are tired because of all the richness they have been through before being tuned by shiv. Also, will changing the plugs out with ones maybe colder or just different than stock mess up my custom tune??
Here are my current mods:

- HKS 30th Anniversary catback
- Ultimate Racing 3" Test Pipe
- Ultimate Racing 3" Downpipe
- HKS 272intake 272exhaust cam's
- AEM True Time cam gears
- Walbro 255lph HP fuel pump
- Greddy Type S Bov
- Apexi Power intake filter kit
- Halman Pro RX Manual Boost controller set at peak of 22psi in 3rd, and 23 peak in 5th
- Vishnu XEDE Piggyback ECU engine managment
- Vishnu XEDEflash

i see alot of mentioning on here about the BPR7ES, but really no conclusions.

No reasons I can give you It is recommended that you run a grade colder at 1+ level....I always use the BR8ES's not the BPR8ES's
The gap is set already but check it is around .024" -.025"

sweet, will do.

will try for the BR8ES, with that gap.

Will this mess with the tuning aspect of my car?

The P stands for Pretruding(think thats how you spell it) basically the plug with the P is hotter so the BR8ES is really 1.5 ranges colder than the BPR7ES.

well i went and purchased 8 ngk br8es #5422 spark plugs and a gapper. The plugs look like they came pregapped around .030's. Should i wait until warmer weather to install the first set or should I go agead and get the first set gapped and thrown in, or just wait it out.

Put them in now....IMO you should have installed these when you did the cam upgrade
They should be pre gapped less than 30 thou....all the ones I buy are at .025"
My .02p

I found a chart explaining how the spark plugs (for NGK atleast) are numbered.... thank me later... http://www.sparkplugs.com/sparkplug411_ngk.asp

After some research on the topic, I think I found a a solid replacement, the BR8EIX. Its the same as the BR8ES but in Iridium.

No one mentioned going one step colder on the spark plug when i installed my stage 1+. Is this something that was over looked? Is this something that can possibly allow for a more radical tune and therefore more power?

Should I be running out tomorrow to change my plugs from stock t BR8ES?

Thanks in advance for the answers

Scott
