Question about bleeder

i tried PMing a vishnu user about this but got no reply after it was read...so i will try posting it here so i can maybe get some info...i saw that he mentioned using a bleeder valve in another thread so i inquired about it....can anyone else provide any info?? Heres the PM:

I noticed your mention of a bleeder valve on that guys low hp XEDE car...this is the first time i have read of anyone running a bleeder...i tried searching for bleeder valve but couldnt really find any helpful info...

could you clue me in as to what kind of valve you are using?? on my old car i just used a one way valve that I bought at a fish store...i imagine this probably isnt what is being used by you guys...i also noticed the UTEC bleeder has a control screw on it...

do you have any pics, install info, or ordering info for this part?? honestly i dont even know if i need it...ive had to tune down my base maps b/c of overboosting (24-25psi)...im thinking if a bleeder can help keep that under control then i need one...when i tone down my 93 map, my upper rpm boost tapers as well which sucks...

any insight?? i want to figure this out before i install my 272 cams
Thanks
-David

It would make you overboost, They are machined dowels with a hole set to a specific PSI- This has the effect of mechanically lowering the duty cycle of the FBC solenoid and is only used on stubborn or tired turbo'd cars
