question about XEDE and other accessories

I recently purchased a HKS Type 1 turbo timer for an excellent price that I couldnt let go. I know we really dont need a TT because of the water cooling of our turbo, but I was wondering if I hooked up say the RPM wire of the TT to my ECU harness would there be any harm or any messing up of the way the XEDE functions. If so i probably wont hook up that portion but was really the reason I bought this TT from the guy, because it has the option to be used as a shift light, and also has the function of its main purpose ....a turbo timer as well as other functions. Just wondering if there would be any negative effects with me hooking up the TT.

Thanks

XEDE, TT, and shift lights work together fine.

didnt know if it would like send the XEDE mixed signals or anything, since i would have 2 use like 2 wires on the ECU harness to splice to for the RPM and stuff.

How did get RPM reading for your shift light? I mean did you just splice into your factory ECU wiring?
