Should i be worried

Today i was running low on gas so i stopped to fill up at a station. I didnt see the order of the pump readins so i filled up with 89 octane instead. :[ i was in 5th gear today at about 3k rpms and it felt like i had no power. after that i drove straight to the pump and filled with 100 octane. Should i be worried?? Im running a stage 1

DRIVE LIKE A GRANDMA!!!!

Drive until you can fill up again, and then see if everything is back to normal after that.

Get a can of octane boost and put it in your trunk for emergencies!

Unfortunatly octane boosters do nothing, except waste money.
Just dont boost..

You can buy a can of Torco though. It isn't a waste of money and it will save you.

Ya Torco do significantly raise yr octane unlike those octane booster that raise up to 7 pts ( 0.7)

OR u can go to the any Home Depot or paint supply store and get some 5 gallon Toulene( 113 oct) or Xylene( 117 oct)

Yes, engine is destroyed. 89 octane is corrosive to the muffler bearings.

Stop by the hardware store and buy some toluene and throw some in. Then, when you accidentally get some on your paint, you can have fun watching it peel off.

If you are worried, most of the time severe detonation will kill a spark plug too. Pull them out and check them. If they are that bad you would have one cylinder not firing so you would know. I am sure you are fine but it never hurts to take a look at them to ease the mind.

I say check plugs 2. Check for shiny/melted metal deposits on the plugs and/or missing pieces
