Xede Rocks! Thanks Vishnu!
Just installed my Xede yesterday morning on my 05' GSR. Took me one hour and 15 minutes. Of course, if I did it again it would take me 30 minutes. Just took my time and followed the instructions off the Vishnu web site. I would suggest that Vishnu make a video on this install and post it on the web site to help eliminate some doubts about certain steps in the install. In my opinion, it would help their sales.
If any potential buyer has any question about the install I will be happy to help out.
Unfortunately, I don't have access to a four wheel dyno because the closest one to me is 2.5 hours away. However, my "***-o-meter" says it gained a bunch. On the way back from the hockey game last night a newer model M3 pulled up next to me on the interstate as I was just tooling along in the right lane at 70 mph. As he came up along side of me he slowed and revved his motor waiting for my response. I waited a few seconds and then snicked it into third and put the pedal to the metal; she now pulls hard all the way up to red line. Upshifted to fourth at 7,000 rpm, stayed in it hard and by this time the M3 kept disappearing into my rear view mirror. He never seemed to even gain any at all. By the time I got to about 110 I backed off. Although I don't think my evo with just an Xede mod can out run a new model M3, I think this driver is probably hunting through the Beemer tuning mags today.
This morning while tooling around I noticed it accelerates very hard through the gears with no drop off like before when it got over 5,500 rpm. Very nice.
Next up, a dump back exhaust with high flow cat.

The new M3 is 333 horsepower and weighs about the same as the evo (approx 3,300 lbs). On my 05' GSR with the Exede on a 93 octane map I would be realistic to think it has gone from 276 flywheel hp to 310 flywheel hp. I would think the new M3 can still pull me without to much problem. After installing the dump back in a couple weeks it might be a race.
i raced a e46 m3 from a roll in my stock 05 gsr, and i was pulling away from him very slowly, also raced a 911 carrera convertible from a roll and was door to door with him up to 100mph, so u beating a m3 with the xede is totaly normal
the stock figure of 276hp for the 05 is lil bit underated

if you know how to launch well u can beat a e46 in the 1/4 mile. with xede easilly. on freeway it will pull slightly after 80-90 mph. once you get stage 1 or 1+ its over. u will begin to pull carlengths.. ive raced several.
