Question Alcohol Injection

I know that AMS is about to release their kit, and the Buschur kit has been out for a while. Where is the long awaited Vishnu Kit? Are you guys going to endorse and resell the AMS kit? Seems like this is the ticket for those of us in the land of 91 octane. Running around on at least a 93 map or 100 map all of the time would be great! Anybody out there running alcohol/water injection on an XEDE?

We will prolly sell our own it was delayed due to the release of ver3. No need to complicate the revision of maps (that would have been necessary). The xede will map and control the amount of meth injected 3 dimentionally through the rev range not just through the roughness of a Maf switch to "on"

We're scared of putting alky under the hood in an flimsy, unsealed plastic intercooler spray bottle, less a foot away from a red hot 1700 degree exhaust manifold. We're equally scared of selling a system that will 15:1 AFRs without misfiring when the alky runs out after a few minutes of hard driving. Until we come up with something that addresses our liability fears, we'll only be supporting methanol kits, not selling them ourselves.

The Buschur/Dynoflash kit has already failed once that I know of causing a blown bottom end and four completely melted spark plugs. When it occured, the warning system indicated all was well, but the A/F were at over 13:1 on 91 with no alky actually spraying. Both of these vendors are being very cool about fixing things, but the point is that these systems are not foolproof and can fail.

That particular day the Evo Gods must have been angry, as I know of three different west coast evo motors that blew (including mine). I personally think Vegas Joe is to blame as two Evos blew up while racing him and he even had reaction time of .666 (sign of the devil).

What's the performance differences between the 91 octane w/alky VS 100 octance racegas??? Besides the $$$ factor...
