What a drive to Vishnu....

Never take the 101 fwy up north to San Jose. I took the 5 fwy up and the 101 fwy coming back. The 101 fwy added at least 1.5-2hrs and thats with me driving fast enough to get home without falling asleep. If you are going up north (i.e. Vishnu), take the 5. Also, the 101 has a lot more hwy patrol....much thanks to the Escort 8500 X50. I would also recommend going up to Vishnu not only for the tuning, but for the scenic drive.....really nice hills, multi million dollar houses. If I move anywhere, it will be up near Pleasanton, off the 680.

I wish I could have stayed longer on Sat to see the end results of that STI and to maybe put my car on the dyno for a first hand comparison, but it looked like you had enough to do......Anyway, after I left the shop I got on it and my car felt "faster"....I filled up with 76 gas that had "NO MTBE"....is that better than the So.Cal gas?

It was really nice to meet you Shiv. You're a cool cat and I dont blame you for "ignoring" the boards in favor of your "chick."

He ignored the boards before Hot Chick or future Boss.

I'll be traveling to San Francisco for work in May and would love to check out the shop. I should bring my ECU with me so I can get the Xede Flash. I may try out that 5 FWY with a rental.

LA to SF on the 101 is cruel and unusual punishment if you are trying to make time.

5 north all the way is the only way to do it. I was just up there last Halloween to see a band (somewhere a bit north of San Rafael). It's very beautiful when you hit the hills (after the cow farms and before the bay) and its only a 5-6 hour drive from SoCal. To bad I was stuck in a car full of swing dancers or I would have stopped by to see the facility and put faces to names...

If you want a really nice drive, try driving to Idaho from SoCal going through Nevada and Oregon...
