Andrew at Dyno4mance, whatta great guy.....

Yep, you guessed it, another Andrew is great thread.

I was planning on being at his shop to dynotune today at around 4, well, some hang ups this morning with my new fuel pump had me leaving about an hour later than i wanted to. ON TOP OF THAT, there was some wierd crap going on in Atlanta traffic, costing me another hour. So, i got to his shop at about 6:45 pm.

I feel terrible to make him stay late, but he doesn't seem to mind at all. but thats not the worst of it. get on the dyno to find out ive got some sort of whacky leak somewhere that won't allow my car to run more that 21psi and hold more than 15 at redline. We start to ponder, meanwhile time is ticking away at the clock. we notice the BOV is on backwards(has been since i owned the car, i guess the kid before me turned it around without telling me and ive never looked under the hood of another evo). SO, we think we have the problem, WRONG. So next, we think maybe the BOV is damaged from being a$$ backwards so we put Andrew's BOV on.....STILL NO GO.

boy, now we are stumped. so, we give up and put a bleeder valve on....IT WORKS. 23psi on pump dropping to 18 or so. so, we get close to what we want on pump gas.....

now, time for the race gas tune....we look at the clock, its after 9pm...DANG
start to tune with the 110, BUT CAN'T GET MORE THAN 23psi. DANG IT. so, we don't gain too much with the race fuel, just about 10whp because we had no more bleeder valves to try.

to make a long story short(too late now eh?) Andrew stayed with me to tune my car till round about 10pm and was nice as could be about it, actually appologizing to me about having to stay so long when my STUPID CAR was giving us crap.

Definetly a stand up guy and i would recommend ANYONE to do as much business with him as possible.

-Jeff

btw, keeping numbers secret because i got some local spys on this forum that happen to be my arch enemy on the strip, LOL.

Andrew did the same for me one night after installing cams. Left his shop about ten at night he even called me on my cell phone on my way home just to make sure my car was not acting up. He is such a straight up guy , answers all my dumb questions about my car family man and runs a nice tuner shop ! Three Cheers Andrew

Andrew is definately a stand up guy. after visiting his shop the couple of times that i have, I am spoiled. I been to quite a few shops and none compare to his. atleast around here anyways. I refuse to allow anyone or any other shop, for that matter, to touch my Evo. Andrew is a very respectable person and a great guy to meet.

I've never met Andrew in person, but I've called him at least a half a dozen times with questions and never once has he ever made me feel like I was wasting his time. He's always willing to chat about mods that I'm contemplating and is VERY straightforward with answers, even if it means discouraging a purchase of something that he feels is not beneficial to the upgrade path.

Just yesterday I called him because I finally decided to purchase a TME 16G Turbo and unfortunately he is out of them...(BUMMER!) I really wanted to get one so that I could get it installed before my Dyno Day outting with Shiv and co. March 19th. I really hope that he gets them in before then because he definitely deserves the sale after all the time he has taken with me on the phone. Andrew, I'm keeping my fingers crossed......... :-))

He doesn't.... At least he won't until later this week. His car was the strongest Stage 1 so far on Andrew's dyno, and now with the hot side, its pretty nuts. I'm prepared to get my **** kicked when he gets the HKS bumpsticks in his car. Some guys just are just lucky and get ringer cars, I guess.

I have also never met Andrew in person, but have talked to hm many times on the phone with problems and upgrade questions. He never once made me feel like I was wasting his time. It seems he cares as much about my car running good as he does his own, and to me that means the world. My only problem is I am in Pennsylvania.
