Dyno Graphs Stage 1+ @17psi

Here are my graphs for my dyno runs today at Prefection Motorsports. My Defi boost gauge is going in the garbage soon. It is reading 3 psi high now. I though it was just the cold weather that was increasing my boost so I have been lowering it to compensate. I didn't bring my laptop, because I didn't plan on going on the dyno, so I couldn't make any changes. So I probably left 20-30hp on the table.

I have 272's, a HF cat, and gears at -3. Not too bad for 17 psi on 92oct. A C5 Corvette w/ a full exhaust dyno'd at 314hp. Another Evo w/ a Utech, no cams, but cat delete, dyno'd 40hp less (sorry Chris ). But his car is getting better daily and soon will be a destorying vette's .

The graphs are typical dynopack. The boost gauge is a Defi D gauge.

Great results! Is your fuel / ignition stock? Is 17 psi stock? I thought it was higher. I have an '05 MR and it pegs the stock boost guage at 1.5 BAR - my Blitz TT has boost / peak hold and shows 1.62 BAR - is that equal to @ 23 psi?

No my fuel and ignition is not using the stock settings. I have the XEDE and my car is actually tuned to run 23psi in the midrange and hold 20 psi close to redline. I had turned down my boost because my gauge was reading too high.

I think the results are pretty good for 17psi.

Good job on that run J!
We still need to get the car leaned out a bit. As you noticed I am running way to rich right now and I shouldnt be maxxing the injectors with the lite modifications I have. We got the tune back up to 276 WHP but its still pretty rich. The dynapack sure is nice to tune on! Best dyno I have ever seen! The level of detail you get for each rpm base is really helpful!
I plan on going to the FAME dyno day. Want to talk to shiv about what he thinks the differences are in the XEDE and UTEC for performance etc.

Stupid question, in the graph it says "Flywheel HP". Is this some sort of estimated flywheel power graph?

No, it is WHP. Dynopaks can figure flywheel horsepower for you if you want. They just got the dyno so they have yet to "customize" some of there settings.

jj_008, so those HP/TQ numbers are corrected? What do they look like uncorrected? How much increase in HP/TQ did you see with the cams?

Those numbers are raw WHP. What you are seeing listed above as "Correction Method" is used for determining what the Flywheel horsepower is. There are several different methods for making this determination.

On a side note my Evo is up to 292 WHP right now with 298 TQ. Should be over 300 tomorrow when the tune is finished!

What he said.

Good job w/ making 292whp. 300hp is definitely in sight. I got myself a new boost gauge on order. Too bad I won't be able to go back up there with my current configuration and slap down 330-340hp or maybe 370hp on race gas .

I never had the car dyno'd w/ out cams. At last years Vishnu dyno day They were good for about 20whp over cars that had cam gears retarded -5.
