Stage 1+ rpm shift point
It's been out here several times. But here it is again. Forget horsepower, It's all about torque. You need a Dyno Run so you can take the torque at different RPMs then multiply that by the gear ratio[Thrust Force] (forget the rear end, it's the same in all gears). Put it all in a spreadsheet and graph it and if at a high RPM you can look to the left and see a higher thrust force then you shift. Generally this works out to shifting at redline for all gears, even with mods they tend to push the torque curve a little higher in the RPM band and shifting at 7500 is generally where you get the most thrust force as well. Stage 1 is at 7500 in all gears
OK figured out how to use attachements. Here is the chart using Burshers Stage 1 dyno run. It looks like there ar a couple of shifts that could take place early but remember where you are on the rpm at the time and where you are going to be after the shift (gear ratios again). They all work out best at max rpm!
