Exede Boost line Q

Exede Boost line Q

Hi guys I used to have a manual boost controller before the Exede and my question for Shiv and all you guys with the Exede knowledge I only have a stock boost line from the factory boost solenoid and no other two so can I use the MBC boost line with the exede or do I have too purchase the other two lines from the turbo and from the Westgate to the T fitting so any advise is appreciated thanks .

It would be best to order a new set of lines from Mitsu as they have more than the one pill you remove in them....
If you use the MBC lines your wastegate will open prematurely and you will not achieve any boost

Yes I have the other line with the boost pill .

Thats what I did $32 dollars for factory setup clamps, pills and all. Much easier than trying to get all the pills back in place, geting the right lenghts.

Andrew,

How many pills are in the stock lines for an 03 Evo? I removed one per Vishnu Xede installation instructions and was not aware that there were more.

Sorry, that was a year or so ago. I could make a call Monday to a friend at the dealership to get the part# for you. There is two boost pills one at the bottom of the line and the one at the top near the boost solonoid (The one you take out for the Xede). There is also one inline where it T's to the wastegate I believe.

Thanks man I think that I ordered the right parts , you can not purchase a one or two hoses separate they sell it only in sets .
