why would you? its not worth the potential piston-burn/ engine explosion. put a NOS sticker on your car and pretend! my 2c. not many people have it or dare to use it. get more HP another way!

I dont trust nitrous, even if u use they're special kits that claim wont blow up ur engine. People just dont know how to use it properly, or at least the stupid kids ive seen use it. Check out that Intercooler kit thing.....ive heard some good things about that. It sprays CO2 into the intercooler which brings the temperatures way down. Im not sure if it works, but its worth checking out.

people are so uninformed about nitrous...nitrous can be used safely if the user knows the limits of his/her motor and nitrous system...the reason nitrous has gotten such a bad rap in the last few years is b/c people saw F&F and bought dry kits off ebay...dry kits + dumb kids = boom

i suggest you read up on the stuff before you decide...make sure you research the systems and find the one thats right for you...nitrous is also a good way to spool a larger turbo if you ever go that route...

i prefer not to use it only b/c i like to add HP in a more "natural" way...if thats even logical with a boosted motor...ide rather be able to get into the 11s with basic bolt-ons and good driving...rather than spraying a 50 shot...just my opinion of course

NOS = Oh NOOOOSSS IM LOOSING BUTTON :P
but seriously, only do it if you can afford to rebuild. And of course, post your result so others can learn about it too.

So I guess the answer is no.

Rode in an Evo with a 75 shot last night. Not saying I'm going that route - just saying it was impressive.

I sprayed a 60 shot with a dry Nitrous Express system in my 1G when I had it a few years ago. The bottom end was built however. NOS is certainly a good way to pick up hp, just make sure your fuel system is up to snuff. Some of the newer NOS kits include upgraded fuel pumps and injectors and some even keep an eye on air/fuel ratios, so those kits should be pretty safe with a small shot.

I plan on using a wet nitrous system down the line. A lot of people who bad-mouth using nitrous system don't have experience with it or have herd horror stories of friends of friends blowing their motors up due to inproper set up or lack of fuel supply, or even hitting the rev limiter while using nitrous will be a bad result. After helping my friends install nitrous systems in their cars and seeing how it can be done the right way I feel more comfortable around nitrous. You just have to know your limits and don't go with more than what your car can support.

there are a few suby guys that use it (wet 50 shot) with success. And this is on the open deck EJ205. Im sure if its set up right on the EVO, it can be used with greatness.

Stock WRX's on a 50 shot spraying out of the hole will run low 13's @ ~100mph. A 50 shot generally adds 50-75whp.
