? on boost/egt for the Master

I read your(Shiv) response to the 27 psi thread. I'm getting 24 to 25.5 at tip in about 3k on 91. If I stay at wot for two to three gears, egt's get to the low to mid 16's. That high seems scarry as hell to me. This is the yellow evo I brought down and you tuned the high octane map for the F-1 fuel. Since then I deleted the cat. Boost gauge is a SPA that I zero'd for this elevation.

Side note: After I loaded my car on the trailer that night(after the dyno tuning) I went to start my truck and the battery was dead. Had to unload the car and find a Wal-mart. The exhaust had cooled enough to get that silencer out. Was that fun drivin around at sea-level.

Cyl #2 1.5" from head surface. Same place I put them all. My concerns are two gears last maybe 4 or 5 seconds at full throttle. If I'm at Willow and go from turn five all the way around and down the front straight that's maybe 45 seconds at WOT with probably one lift at nine to set the car. Long time for those egt's to climb. I would of course run race full and not 91. A little cooler probably. I'm going to run an auto-x at the rim of the world rally tom. with race gas and I'll see what the run then.

On my autometer gauge (preturbo on exhaust mani as well) I run over 1600 F in both 4th and 5th at WOT.
