anyone got the dynex dx-ubdb9 cable to work? Won't communicate. My only other option here is the radio shack one.

 

search is your friend, use my user name and "USB" in the search terms and you'll find a bunch that do work.

 

I have searched many a time. None of those are available around here. Not even Best Buy. That is why I asked about this brand. Don't have time for mail order right now.

 

In theory any USB->RS232 cable should work. Since those devices are part of the USB standard, a decent OS should detect them even without a driver. Are you sure it's the adapter that's the problem. What kind of error are you getting?

Can't get my laptop to connect(Dell or my Balance). Bought a long serial cable and I'm ready to take my trusty E-machines downstairs to the garage but can't get the map file to open. I have searched and read all posts having anything to due with tuning. Getting fed up with this. Called Vishnu on 5-5 and 5-11. Some young sounding girl took my name and number and said someone would call. Never happened. My concerns are 1750 egt's at Thunderhill. When they got over 1700+ I'd take my foot out of it.

Sorry for the vent but the amount of time I've put into this so far I could have put my Accel DFI system on.

 

Can't be the adapter. I have now tried my office computer. Just won't connect. No error code. What I don't get is Shiv tuned my race map on his dyno. It had to be working then.

 

I dunno. You know anybody local with an Xede?
