Stage 2 STi takes First in Ft. Myers FL
Well, it was just a Solo2 event on the West Coast of FL. This is my first #1 ever so wanted to share with you guys. This particular event is a mile long course.
In Street Mod, i was able to beat out a couple of EVO MR's, Eclipse, Nissan, and a fellow Subaru. Results
Thanks Vishnu and Dyno4mance. The Stage 2+ setup is so damn fast!!!

I dunno why more STI people dont go the Vishnu route.Everyone that has, have had good results. I had stage 1 on my 02 WRX and loved it. Seams like they have some kinda grudge over there on nasioc.com anymore.

It's probably the driver. We have a guy locally that runs a JUNKED Escort GT on mismatched all season tires and he regularly clocks what the A Stock and Street Modified guys do. He drove (in a fun run) another guy's class winning DSP car at our last autocross and cut two seconds off his time in ONE TRY.
Autocross is mostly 1) Driver 2) Tires. I have had this proven to me time and time again. The Evo makes a moderately good driver look great, but a great driver can look good in anything. Nationally, we have THE ALIEN (Mark Daddio). Locally, we have THE MUTANT.
For those looking for a faster car, educate the driver. Seat time, Seat time, Seat time.
