Injector Scaling in XEDE

I will be installing 660cc injectors on Monday or Tuesday. I have read the XEDE can scale correctly for larger injectors without having the unit sent back to Vishnu. In Xmap3 (yes I have a v3 firmware) there is a Injector Scaling button that brings up Output Scale Factors. Obviously Freq0 is the only one that concerns me here, but I'm not sure what I should enter. 660cc injectors are 20% larger than stock, so would I set Freq0 to 83%? Any ideas?

I forgot to add that I have a White Rabbit in. Being a larger turbo, I'd assume it would lean out the AFR. Considering how rich Evos run stock (like 9:1), would it be safe to just run the timing and fuel tables zeroed out hoping the leaning from the bigger turbo wouldn't lean the stock AFR too much?

I dont recommend using the MAF scaling feature to adjust for the larger injectors. It induces too much passive timing advance which can be a ***** to tune out if you dont have a high resolution dyno to pick out all the points of knock retard. Much better to get your ECU flashed for the larger injectors. We have an XEDEflash for the injectors you are using.

Yeah I understand that, but I don't have the time to send out my ECU and I already have a previous XEDEflash The car will be tuned on a Mustang.

Since you already have an XEDEFlash we'll be happy to reflash your ECU for the larger injectors free-of-charge. I reeeaaally recommend it. So much that I suggest you postpone your dyno appointment.

gsujeff55: do a search in this forum, there are a few threads on it

Sackett: the XEDE can scale for larger injectors on its own, but Shiv high recommends against it.

Shiv,

Can the XEDEflash be done for '05s at the SoCal dyno day? Thanks. I have Smoggie's old AMS 680's.
